Reflection:

On the drive from San Francisco to Mendocino, try to make sure you are the person driving the vehicle! If not, be ready for a turbulent, queasy, twisted ride. I had but one true joy during that ride: the spot of snow that fell out of season - only partially covering the land in its supposed springtime mode. Livestock, fields, farmhouses...all were just peppered, as opposed to blanketed, with the white stuff. It was a glistening, magical sight...as if touched by an angel!
